meet Brant Owens

Brant Owens isn’t a politician looking for a title — he gets things done.

2023 Headshot.jpg

He’s a lifelong Campbell County resident who shows up, rolls up his sleeves, and works alongside the people he serves. From our river cities to our rural roads, and the growing suburbs in between, Brant has lived, volunteered, and led in the very communities that make our county unique.

As a financial advisor, Army veteran, and community leader, Brant believes public service is not about photo ops or rubber-stamping someone else’s agenda — it’s about solving problems, bringing people together, and making decisions that move our county forward. He listens, he learns, and he follows through. That’s not rhetoric. It’s how he has always worked.

Brant currently serves in hands-on roles across the region, chairing neighborhood groups and a mayor-appointed city board, serving on the board of a local nonprofit ensuring dignity and shelter for those in need, and leading environmental education and advocacy as an outing leader and the Legislative Chair of the Northern Kentucky Sierra Club Group. In every position, one pattern repeats: Brant doesn’t wait for someone else to step up — he steps forward.

He’s running for Campbell County Commissioner because our communities deserve more than the bare minimum from their elected officials. We need leaders who ask questions, show up prepared, and make hard decisions instead of coasting behind a long record of unanimous votes — leaders who believe taxpayers deserve accountability, families deserve opportunity, and decisions should be made out in the open — not behind closed doors.

Brant knows Campbell County can grow without losing what makes it special. Strong cities, smart suburbs, and rural conservation are not competing visions — they are the blueprint for a thriving county where every community has a future. But that future won’t happen by accident, and it won't happen with a commissioner who does the bare minimum, rubber-stamps whatever's put in front of them, and calls that "leadership".

Nothing happens if you do nothing.

Together, we can do something.
